Igniting the Quality Trend, Promoting Victory Through Quality – Yawei Corporation Launches "Quality Culture" Series of Activities

In order to thoroughly implement Yahwei Corporation's decision and deployment regarding the construction of "Quality Culture," the inaugural "Quality Culture" series of activities was held on October 22nd at 3:00 PM in the 101 Lecture Hall of the Research and Development Building. Mr. Leng Zhibin, Chairman of the Board and Party Secretary, Ms. Shi Jinxia, Vice Chairman of the Board and Deputy Party Secretary, Mr. Xie Yansen, Deputy Party Secretary, as well as Mr. Wang Jun, Chairman of the Labor Union, and Mr. Fan Jun, Director of Quality and Safety, attended the event.

The first activity of the "Quality Culture" series was the "Quality Star" quality knowledge competition. Various business units of subsidiary companies, including "Technology," "Production," "Procurement," "After-sales," and "Functional Departments," selected 2 participants each through self-learning from the quality knowledge question bank. These participants took part in a rapid-fire quality knowledge quiz, competing in four stages. The first stage was the "Individual Mandatory Question" section, where participants on stage sequentially answered quality multiple-choice or true-false questions. The teams ended up with a tie, showcasing the participants' thorough preparation for the event. The second stage was the "Buzz-in Round," with participants using buzzers to answer questions and facing a stricter deduction mechanism, enhancing the excitement of the activity. This round widened the score gap as participants relied on quick reflexes and rapid thinking. The third stage was the "Audience Buzz-in Round," which elevated the on-site atmosphere. Audience members used a QR code to access the event app and participated in real-time buzz-in responses, increasing their understanding and engagement with quality knowledge culture while boosting collective pride. The final fourth stage was the "Group Answer Round," employing group collaboration. Each group of two members watched videos or cartoons depicting actions or behaviors inconsistent with Yahwei's product quality requirements. This round enriched the forms of quality knowledge representation. After intense competition, the "Sheet Metal" team from the Sheet Metal Division won first place. The "Headquarters Functional" team and the "Laser" team secured second place. The "Coil Sheet" team, "Processing" team, and "Robot" team earned third place.

Following this was the "Quality Storytelling" speech activity, conducted at both the departmental and company levels. Division/center/subsidiary-level speech activities were carried out based on the participation of all employees from various business units, centers, functional departments, and subsidiary companies. Furthermore, impactful quality stories were recommended to the company to participate in the company-level "Quality Storytelling" speech event.

In the end, 10 representative participants were selected from technical, production, after-sales, and various subsidiary business departments to deliver outstanding performances. The content of their speeches mainly revolved around representative stories from the "I Speak for Quality" essay collection, expressing their understanding, insights, and improvements regarding product quality. The presentations highlighted Yahwei's commitment to satisfying customers, getting things right the first time, autonomous quality assurance, and the spirit of excellence and craftsmanship. This also embodied the company's heritage and continuation of the pursuit of excellence through superior quality. The participation spanned from new employees to veterans, technical teams, and inspectors, fostering diversity. The participants energetically conveyed their understanding and practice of quality, as well as their colleagues' quality-consciousness and high standards during work. The event was marked by enthusiastic emotions and a lively atmosphere, once again elevating the series of cultural activities to a climax.

This event fostered a "Quality Culture" ecosystem of caring, valuing, and enjoying quality among all employees, inspiring them to establish an overall culture of autonomous quality control, continuous improvement, pursuit of excellence, and customer satisfaction within Yahwei Corporation.
